To future home sellers/buyers.
My wife and I decided to sell our condo/apt in December of 2005. At first we attempted to sell privately, but this was very unsuccessful. During this time we were deluged with phone calls from numerous real estate agents, and we found many of them to be rude, aggressive and less than truthful with their approaches.
In the meantime we received a letter in the mail from Mr. Philip Stedman of the Sutton Group. Mr. Stedman outlined his business offer to us should we decide to list with him. He also listed his experience in the industry and left it by wishing us luck, but that if he could be of service to us he was more than willing to discuss his offer. He also provided a source for references.
Subsequently I called Mr. Stedman and thanked him for his casual and professional approach. I was very impressed with Mr. Stedman and I advised him that if the need arose, we would consider his services.
In the second week of March, Mr. Stedman came to our condo, outlined his business offer, marketing strategies, and his opinion on the current condo real estate trends. We signed with Mr. Stedman on March 22nd, and within days we were fully listed, including photos on MLS.
The lengthy feature sheet with photos exceeded all our expectations, and was a piece of obvious professionalism.
For the next two months we had numerous showings. Then on June 8th Mr. Stedman received a call from a prospective client, Mr. Stedman showed the apartment that day and by Sunday evening June 10th, we accepted an offer. During the negotiations, Mr. Stedman provided invaluable assistance to us.
We both found Mr. Stedman to be a friendly and professional real estate agent with a refreshing approach and obvious successful strategies.
There is no doubt, that if we ever need these services again, we will not hesitate to call Mr. Stedman.
